Veolia EKOZEC Sp. z o.o. has other Combustion by-Products in its product portfolio.

BFB ash from combustion of biomass in a fluidized-bed boiler:

  • agricultural use: contains nutrients valuable to plants, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus
  • road construction binders: affect the strength of the cement composite and reduce absorption

FGD (flue gas desulphurization) products:

  • road construction binders: change the granulation, improve the grain size curve , reduce moisture content
  • filling mine workings

BFB Sand from fluidized-bed boiler:

  • Additive for cement production.

Concern for the environment and ecological conditions provide more and more opportunities for the use of anthropogenic materials such as combustion by-Products. They significantly affect the reduction of CO2 emissions as well as reduce extraction of natural resources. Combustion by-Products are safe for both humans and the environment and their use in industry fits the circular economy model.
